The Kimono Dress

You will agree with me that this is one very classy look right?I have been longing to put up this particular post.Me in this gorgeous  kimono dress that I got from Rosegal.

I love it.I felt almost like a Japanese girl in this.Well in just a small way.I had been eyeing this gorgeous kimono dress for quite some time and when the chance presented itself for me to make that purchase I didn't let it pass.I thought it was the perfect time to show my readers how to style the kimono dress, you know, show an awesome kimono dress outfit you'll remember.

So first of all, the kimono dress is part of the beloved kimono family, a piece of Japanese origin that just brings about sheer elegance.They love to wear such a kimono to events and special occasions but I guess just by seeing this one , you already knew that didn't you?

The fabric is so nice and comfortable but wow, don't even get me started on the print.This is just quite the gift.I love that the kimono dress is like nothing I owned previously and that it is just unique and so elegant.The length is also great but even more important is that I can think of many other different ways of wearing it.Just keep checking out the blog for more on my many ways of wearing this because I most certainly will be doing a lookbook the moment I get the opportunity to do so.

So because this piece stands out I went for my favorite simple hairdo, black shoes and a little black bag.I did not want anything too bright to stand in the way of my kimono's moment if I may call it that.When you opt for a porcelain print dress , houndstooth , animal print and other bold ones, you keep everything else down.

So I don't know about you guys but I think this kimono dress is so easy on the eye. Nice color and would make for a great outfit to someone's wedding, a church event , a very fancy brunch or add a fascinator and you'd be ready for a nice high tea.
