Was anyone else left almost speechless like I was after seeing the second promo for the upcoming series "I am Cait?"Wow!I've never seen a person who was formerly a man look that beautiful .I did see the first one,and the Vanity fair cover, but this one..Now I will not give my opinion on the decision he/she made to transition because I have a feeling that whatever I say about it could be used against me regardless of what it is,so I'm just stating the obvious. That she's beautiful and that regardless of how you look at this whole thing, there is something you can learn from it.At least I did, that for a series of such delicate procedures to have been carried out and give such almost perfect results,God must have really blessed man with an extensive mind.Imagine the surgeons who came up with such procedures.Intelligence that got me wondering just how much I can do using just this brain/mind of mine. This also makes me understand more why they say the graveyard is the richest place because it has the greatest ideas just buried there.People who passed on with numerous ideas that crossed their minds, dont you think?Just food for thought.
Anyway,I happen to love my neutrals especially on a Monday morning because hey,it's hard enough to wrap your head around the idea of a new week with new issues beginning, thinking of what to wear can be a challenge when you have those blues.I wore this some time ago.A simple white shirt and a grey stripped skirt that's pleated at the front and looks like an ordinary skirt at the back.I just added some red button earrings for a pop of color and this slightly multicolored scarf because obviously the sun wasn't going to be up much, it was a little cold.A maroon bag and black shoes completed the look.

Happy happy Friday guys.Hope you're loving it like I am.Gosh since I started my internship I've really been having trouble finding time and people to take my pictures for the blog especially because due to the circumstances I'm staying at a place far from everyone who helps me with that which is why sometimes I end up posting twice in a week instead of three times.Anyway I'm still trying to sort that little detail out so that I can go back to three posts a week soon so no worries.Otherwise thank goodness for friends who come to the rescue  when you least expect it,like Joy did this time and helped me out with the pictures situation which is why I have this post up today.
Who doesn't own or love a good black dress?I thought so.
This is my little bubble dress which I opted to wear in the cutest style i.e with a grey bolero and some comfy heels.I had my hair tied high up for that very youthful look and went for a little bag to complete the ensemble.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Hey guys.So yesterday was fathers' day and amidst all those fathers day messages on TV I kept looking at my own dad and wondering "how does he do it?"
I never post on Sundays which is why I'll say this today instead, that I too have a thousand and one reasons to appreciate my own dad.He works so hard everyday, that since I was a child I never lacked my basic needs but most important is that I have never failed to feel loved.Someone else would argue that it is every father's responsibility to do these but to me they all count.Aside from that, all my life my dad's had to work in many different places so he's always had to travel, but never once did I feel his absence as a child. My siblings and I always knew that we could reach him whenever we needed to.It's funny that he'd leave me with assignments while he went away such as to learn the 10 commandments,10 plagues at Egypt,Parables of Jesus,Bible verses e.t.c or with just a book to read for my benefit and would applaud whenever I presented to him when he returned. He taught me to pray and make sound decisions in life. The list of the things he's taught me throughout the years is endless but I will just say that I am always thankful to have him as my dad and thanks to the way he raised me,I am a confident young lady today who dares to dream and knows how to fight for what I want and thanks to him I know my worth.
Blue and red are two very contrasting colors that somehow always have a chic way of blending to create a beautiful, rich look if you choose the right shades.I went for a very bright blue skirt yesterday and paired it with a white tee, then threw on this equally bright red jacket and I couldn't have been happier.I wore these lace up shoes that I haven't worn in the longest time and with the addition of my blue button earrings and clutch,Voila!Satisfaction, and it was perfect for the sunny weather too.

Hey guys!I'm always down for a thrifting expedition and I certainly wasn't going to back down on this one.Well, thanks to my obsession with thrifting I found this nice vintage dress in a pile of many others and just couldn't let go with it despite the fact that it was too big for me.I could already picture a more fitting version of it on my body, which by the way is something very important to do when at it.Always picture how you would wear it.It's a checked dress but what I love is the chinese detail at the front
It just took a visit to my tailor for a bit of work to reduce its size and the slit too.It was also very long,up to the ankles but I figured it would look better as a midi dress and after all that, behold the result!!With just a pair of black peep toe heels for extra height,an animal print bag for a slight contrast from the print and color of the dress and a nice simple hair do,I was done.

Hey guys.A lot of you really liked my maroon leggings, when I wore them in a dressier casual style when I first featured them on the blog,so today I decided to do an even more casual look with just a few changes.I switched the chiffon blouse with this graphic tee.I feel like most of the time a t-shirt is your ultimate go to if you just want to be super comfortable. This may be but you still have to aim for a stylish look regardless so choose a good one.The graphics on the tee in a way match my leggings.

So I still wanted to do the hat and decided to just wear a maroon one backwards this time then added a grey skinny belt. It's kinda hard to notice the belt though. The little bag worked and well, when I couldn't find those black sneakers I would have loved to wear some flats made the  look complete.
Thanks for stopping by.Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday
