Hey guys!!!Hope your Monday's off to a great start. So still on the series. This third look features me in the very same plaid shirt but this time,I paired it with a pencil skirt.Pencil skirts are very feminine and chic so they easily add some class to a playful plaid shirt.I could have gone with a black or maybe navy skirt but those would have been rather obvious choices so I opted for color.A bright red pencil skirt did just fine.I also chose some white shoes, kitten heels actually because they're so comfortable and my brown bag.My sister loves these sunglasses and made me wear them when she took these pictures.I hope you like the ensemble though because I did.If you missed out on the first and second part of the series check here and here

Hey Guys...Friday's here and with Friday comes the fun. That explains today's outfit which is part of my how to wear a plaid shirt series.I wore this blue strapless skater dress and threw the plaid shirt over it.It already looked alright but I'm all about the emphasis on the waist area so I tied a black waist belt over the shirt.I wore some boots because I love boots and I'm always looking for some excuse to wear them and went for simple red accessories. The bag gave a bright contrast to the whole outfit. If you haven't tried this yet,I think you should really consider it.That said,if you missed the first part of the series just click here and of course keep up with the rest of the looks coming up next week.

Hey Guys!!Series Alert.
Dressing up or better yet looking great doesn't always have to be too much work and sometimes it means just looking at your wardrobe and pulling out the pieces you think stand out in some way and finding different ways to wear those pieces on any given day.Such a piece for me happens to be a plaid shirt.I like how playful and fun a plaid shirt can be and because of my love for this kind of piece that I consider a wardrobe staple,I thought it best to pick one of the ones I have in possession and show how I like to wear it in different ways.I'm doing my second blog series"How to wear a plaid shirt"
So this first look is perhaps the easiest and most common way of wearing a plaid shirt. With just a nice, simple pair of jeans.I opted for my maroon boots for some great color and on account of the weather too. This is a nice casual look, easy to pull off and I added some geek glasses. If you're wondering why I'm so close to the wall,it's because when my brother was taking these pictures it suddenly started raining so I had to move to get the shoot over with. The job just had to get done.To see more looks, watch out for the next few post.
Thanks For Stopping by,have a great day.
Hello Guys.So I woke up on Sunday and wondered what to wear to church. My first outfit didn't seem suitable enough then it dawned on me that I'd bought a few long skirts to add variety to my wardrobe.I was never exactly a super fan of such,I prefer knee length most of the time, but I'm always in favor of trying out something new.So I wore this particular one with a white tank and this mint jacket I styled here before.I love pairing mint with black, you may have noticed that by now.So I initially wanted to wear black strappy sandals but they just disappointed me.They were spoilt and I couldn't change because I was already all dressed up and well I was running late so I took a completely different approach. These comfortable heels were available and I decided to rock them like they were my first option.I must say that this was a first for me and frankly I was happy with it.I wish my mum had been around to see me in this though. She'd have been so proud lol.I still advise that you wear strappier shoes with such skirts. That said,I loved it and honestly I can't wait to wear the others.
