Hello guys!!Certainly a happy day for me because today is my Blogversary..Gosh it feels so good to say that especially since this whole idea started out a bit like a joke then it all grew in me to become one of my favorite things to do.September has always been my month you know. Starting this blog on September 29th last year was a huge source of relief after a very hard morning that had seen me really argue with a couple of people responsible for administration at  my  hostel for refusing to give me a mattress when I reported back to school after a holiday despite having paid everything lo.I just  walked out and the idea came to start blogging and this is what it has grown to become. My style has evolved since then and I couldn't be happier.Of course I look at some of my earlier posts and go "what was I thinking?" but with every time I check my views,I can't help but be filled with appreciation for my readers who constantly motivate me to continue.Your comments are usually so highly appreciated because they mean alot and I'm glad to have received the chance to interract with some amazing people because of this.I pray that my blog may grow even more over this second year of blogging that begins today and I will certainly do my best to give you guys more reason to visit.I'll just let my outfit speak for itself today but I hope you like it.

Hey Guys...If you follow me on Instagram @sophie_atieno you might remember seeing this look I posted there some time ago.So you notice how much I love my girlie sneakers? It's true I do.I posted a number on Monday on how I wore them with a prepy look and today I am just going full on casual with them. This look by the way is still a good one for school because it's young and fun.I wore a navy high waist skirt with a white tank then threw on this pink short sleeved light jacket just so it wouldn't look too simple, plus the pink goes well with  the shoe laces. I added some sunglasses to this just to look cooler and tata!Easy to pull this off don't you think?

Hey Guys!So school resumed last week but as usual the first week doesn't have much class activity, just settling.Today ,it became all too official we're back and in all honesty,I can't believe that this is my final year in campus.I'm in the final stage of the 8-4-4 system and I'm having mixed reactions about it.Happy because I've come this far,yet scared because after the academic year ends,I'll finally be on my own hustling for a job knowing all too well it won't be easy.
In the mean time,I have decided to enjoy every minute of this last year in school to the fullest but of course without losing all sense of responsibility. That includes enjoying even in the way I dress. This look is one that combines prepy with sporty.Call it prepy meets sporty for very obvious reasons.I was tired of wearing my brogues because they're heeled and not flat so I went with sneakers instead for a comfortable feel.I loved how the yellow belt and the pink shoe laces worked. The thing about being in your 20s is that you have freedom to try out quite some styles.

Hey guys...I happened to have had pictures of all these shoes I took at the expo and decided to do a bonus post on the footwear that was on display.I appreciate good footwear.Shoes can make or break an outfit. The ones at the expo came all shiny, glittery and stuff.I was especially impressed by the men's shoes funnily.Who said a man couldn't wear "sparkly" shoes?Well according to the traders there, whoever that is,they lied.I loved the design at the front.Imagine how it felt like not being able to walk home with any,I just went with the jewellery.Notice that all these pairs of shoes are actually flat.I guess it's because they are made in a traditional style.

In as far as the artifacts are concerned,I loved a lot of them. The different designs and how much they glowed and shone bright but in a classy way.The vases were beautiful, the clocks, the mirrors and everything else you'd need to beautify your home or whatever space looked lovely.I never pay too much attention to cutlery but I just had to because I was interested in seeing what these guys brought for us to see and how different they would be from what's already here. They were all unbreakable and made of great material not to mention the fair prices they came in, which I didn't expect, made them even more attractive. The couches on display were amazing, sorry I only have pictures of two living room sets because I was prohibited from taking more.I wasn't even supposed to take these ones, something about keeping the designs exclusive but the lady over there got to me a little late. All in all,I just appreciated the fact that everything sort of had an Egyptian,Middle Eastern feel either through the writings, designs or how they were decorated, which was good because it's exactly what gave the difference from what we already have in our supermarkets.

Thanks for stopping by.If you missed out on the clothes or the jewellery,be sure to check them out on my last two posts.
