Heyyyy guys!!
I hope you all had a great Sunday. So today I am throwing it back to the warmer days where I finally wore this shirtdress I got from Zaful.I have been so obsessed with pinstripes in this past one year that I have so many pinstriped ones. This my friends is what you wear when the sun is scorching hot in those springy ,summery areas and in as much as the weather in Nairobi is currently playing tricks on us , it also works because the sun does come out for a while before the rain pours like crazy.
So it's very easy to style such a shirtdress. It's actually oversize but I chose not to do anything to alter it.I paired it with some leggings and was good to go.
- Invest in a hair connditioner. Deep condition your hair once a week or once every two weeks.
- Coconut oil. Coconut oil is your friend people. Keeps your hair healthy and it's very easy getting it to penetrate through your strands.
- Hair food. Get some good hair food to help you out when braiding your hair at night or when doing bantu knots.I like to use coconut hairfood or something with jojoba.
- Braid your hair at night.Do some twists or three strand braids so that your hair is combable in the morning.
- Use an afro comb. It easily penetrates through natural hair compared to a jelly comb. You don't want to have hair breakage.
- Protective styling. Every once in a while do some protective styling to give natural hair a rest. Be careful with the edges though. I've had a few mishaps when it comes to braiding but well there's always a solution. Giving your hair a rest after protective styling. As you can see here, my puff looks very healthy but my edges did get a little affected but they have grown back now thank God.
I sure do hope you find these tips on dressing in hot weather and hair hacks and tips helpful in a way.I don't exactly have much of a hair regimen but these tips often work for my 4c natural hair that I absolutely love. Thanks for stopping by

I love that shirt, it look so cute on you, girlie! I also love these hair tips you've shared here. I've tried using coconut oil in the past and it didn't work for me, but maybe it put too much? I think I may have to give it a try because everyone raves about how great it is for the hair. Thanks for sharing, babes, and I hope you're having a great start to your week so far!
