How To Wear A Shirt Dress And Look Classy

I love a good shirt dress and the fact that they are always so nice and fun but other than styling them casually, you can also dress them up nicely.

So here's a post on how to wear a shirt dress and look classy.

 So here's a little backstory. I bought this shirt dress from Romwe back in 2017. It was during Black Friday. I'd spent so much of my money on clothes during that weekend because well, a lot of clothes were on sale. Just when I thought I was done, I looked through Romwe with no intention to buy anything but nope. I was wrong. This popped up and I was in love.

It's the fact that usually,mixing prints is so hard but this dress perfectly combines florals with stripes. I love the pink color and the icing on the cake is the front part. The "knot" for lack of better words.

So anyway, my friend Bram and I went out for brunch and this shirt dress made for such a classy look but in a very effortless way. You might have already watched it on my YouTube Channel already.

So I find pink a great color for brunch by the way. Anyway, to wear a shirt dress and look classy, how about you grab a pair of ankle strap heels. I love how the straps or laces bring focus to the smallest part of your leg. Here, I went for the most basic color, black, although the laces have a bit of white on them.

I also grabbed a nice bucket bag. Just a medium size one will do. When wearing a printed dress such as this one, a bag that's simple will do. I picked a burgundy one because I love the combination of pink and burgundy. I also went for some very simple golden earrings.

So that's it. Sometimes, to look classy, you just have to be simple. So anyway, that was my look for a brunch at Mugz and Brewz here in Nairobi.
