Chic Way To Wear Velvet: Women's Suits

Hey Guys!! 

Do you guys have that outfit that just brings you an immense amount of joy? Well, I believe this is just it for me. I have always loved a good women's suit and I have always been a lover of velvet so imagine what a combination of a suit and velvet does for me.

I got this suit from Dresslily which just happens to be one of the sites I have shopped at for the longest time. They were having this amazing sale and I decided to take advantage of it. I flipped through so many of their pages to find the perfect pieces and there this women's suit was. So I thought it would be nice for showing a chic way to wear velvet.

I was attracted by the beautiful, dark, navy color. See how lovely it is.  That and the fact that it also looked really great on the model. I also really love that when it arrived, it actually fit just the way I imagined it. There was no need for a tailor this time. The pants were as baggy as I wanted them to be. The blazer looked great with the self tie on.

This is something I would wear to a high fashion event all dressed up you know, but I decided to go for some white sneakers instead and it looked amazing. The sneakers gave this great navy velvet suit that sporty chic vibe. I love it.

I feel like this was effortless. To me, navy usually looks so chic. Velvet usually feels so great on the skin and usually looks classy.

So, I thrifted this tiny little bag. I honestly think it was such a steal. Now that the suit is already baggy, I decided to keep my hair simple in my favorite style. My usual puff. I love it.

So I wore this to a lunch with a friend of mine this past Sunday. I got a lot of compliments and I appreciate it. I love that this women's suit is mine. It just nicely combines comfort and style. I hope that you agree with me that this is a chic way to wear velvet.
