How To Style A Simple Embroidered Sweater

Hey guys!

Another sweater look. Yes, you guys know about my love for a good sweater and I have shared an embroidered sweater outfit before except that one was oversize. This one's very different.

So about this embroidered sweater, I actually thrifted it some time back. I loved it so much because it has this different kind of green color. It's so nice and well fitted. I actually had to do no adjustments to it which I really love.

When I first got it, I wanted to wear it over a shirt. Not a white one though. I wanted to layer it over an off-white, creamish one but on this particular Friday, I changed my mind and went very simple.

I put together this embroidered sweater outfit simply by just using basics. I pulled out my black pants and some black shoes.

So the pants are actually not jeans. They are just made of regular tailoring material and then I went for patent brogues.

It's interesting that everything in this look is actually a thrift save for the bag.

So the bag is a gem I got from Zaful back in 2015. I love it. It is actually one of my favorite bags because it is spacious and can carry a lot of stuff. Perfect for a girl on the go.

Other than that, it's simply black and white. You know what that means right? It goes with almost everything I own.I however just love carrying it when I am going for something casual or a pants outfit.

So to seal this embroidered sweater outfit, I went for a brown belt although yellow would have also done the job. I love the contrast between the green and the brown. Works amazing. I also went for a golden pair of earrings just to accessorize the look more although my brogues do have some pearls and golden details too.

So with that, I hope you love my simple embroidered sweater look for a casual Friday or a day that you just want to look smart and effortless. Tomorro is Valentine's day and I know the obvious thing would have been to share a Valentine's Day outfit but time caught up with me and I wasn't able to shoot some outfits for that.

However, remember to always love everyday and not just on Valentine's. Show your love every chance you get. I find Valentine's Day cute though so wear something cute tomorrow and have a great time. Also remember self love is the most important.
