The Turban

Hello Guys!!Finally,I started doing headwraps but first,my spirits are raised to up there today.Wow!!I feel so good and it's all because I've been listening to the most amazing music since morning. From Sauti Sol to Ali Kiba to Diamond. If you're not listening to East African music, you should start. As if it wasn't enough Mirrors by JT never goes out of style for me and John Legend always makes my day.
Anyway,if there's something I very well learnt from watching so many Nigerian movies when I was a child,it's that head wraps don't have to be boring and they are not only restricted to older ladies.Sure I've always wrapped my head before sleeping(Oh my African hair) but I just recently started trying out creative styles and when I first did the turban, which remains my favorite,I loved it and so did my mum.I used a yellow scarf to tie this one that went all too well with this entire ensemble.I styled this long top for my very first blog post here remember?I hadn't worn it since then, wonder why.
