Matchy Matchy

Okaaay,ok I admit. When I started my blog a little over a year ago,I would often find myself doing a lot of matchy matchy outfit posts.I would tend to revolve around certain colors when it came to both my clothes and accessories which explained why that happened so often. With time though,I grew out of that and learnt to embrace those colors I previously considered no nos. It's all about how you wear them but in all honesty, old habits die hard and once in a while, particularly when I just don't feel like playing dress up and questioning what color to wear with what I find myself matching stuff because it's a little safe when you're having those nay days.I only had to go to school to get an exam card on this particular day.No lectures or anything else of importance. That alone usually involves a lot of queuing and solving issues with the finance department not to mention being pushed by those who opt to be rough and impatient.Who would like to get all dressed up for such a hustle.Anyway I still wanted to look good so I went for the ever easy to wear black dress.I've had this one for a while except this time I opted to wear it with a white tee underneath to make the look different from the times I've worn the dress and preferred some wedge boots for comfort.I had to tie this scarf into a band because I hadn't had the time to have my hair redone and opted for the pink and brown belt.I realized the pink on the belt matched my scarf so I decided to just fully go along with it.Pink earrings and a brown bag.Just a cute look for a hard day.

  3. I realize your fear before you stopped being all matchy/cordinates because I went through the same phase but fashion is all about risks just like another thing in life and the beauty about the risks is that they work out or teach one a lesson if they fail to work out. This dress can even be worn without any top inside, how cool!! I love how you accessorized the outfit to turn it into a stunning look! You look dashing dear, have a productive week ahead!
