Today's post is about how to wear the matching set trend to a function.
To know me is to know that I really love a good matching set and boy am I glad that the matching sets trend is not going anywhere. At least, as per my knowledge and feeling.
The thing with two piece sets is that they just have a way of looking classy but in the most effortless manner. Effortless because obviously, you never have to think much about what to wear them with.
So I really appreciate the manner in which two piece sets have evolved. From the usual pants and top to the pajama style, agbada and so on. These have been made for all of us fashion lovers to have fun with.
So, I just thought, why not round up a few two piece pieces that you could wear to different kinds of functions.
These all involve pants.
Silvia stunned in this agbada two-piece.An agbada is western style and honestly speaking the first time I saw this look, I was just in so much awe. I would personally love this for a more red carpet kind of event at night, just ,like she did.
So for such, just a pair of heels and clutch work.
I wore this amazing porcelain print for this shoot whose full post you can see here.
Life of a fashion blogger , I haven't had the chance to wear it yet. This would be my kind of look for a nice afternoon event or function and best believe, I would even wear this two piece set to a wedding instead of a usual, expected dress outfit.
I actually prefer wearing such baggy two pieces with strappy shoes like I did here because you already are so covered up and just need a good balance.
Also, with such, simple hair is great.
Alexandra Lapp
Alexandra just had her way with hers that looks so perfect for a nice, classy, corporate event because it's nice and plain with the flare pants that I am drooling over and that bag that just increases the life of this look. What a great way to wear the matching set trend in a more conservative manner.
Toke Makinwa
This look by Toke makes me want to shed tears of joy. I absolutely love it. It looks nice and cute because of the flowers and side stripes but oh so classy with those shoes, bag and hair.
See, it's always about the balance you guys and with these kinds of two piece sets.Balance and she could definitely rock this matching set any day to a good weekend event.
Aimie Song
I love how simple Amie's pajama style set looks with those white strappy shoes and again, I would love to wear something similar to a more chilled kind of event with simple laid back hair, just like hers and minimal accessories because the two piece set speaks for itself.
Bella Hadid
Bella's two piece set outfit is so casual chic but still event appropriate.
I couldn't have thought of a better way to rock this kind. With the always amazing baker boy hat and this time, no heel but sneakers instead for more comfort. This is great for a chilled out event that requires you to look stylish while laid back.
Sharon Mundia
But is there anyone in Kenya who doesn't remembert the This is Ess for Vivo collection?Any fashion girl I mean?
Well, I loved it especially for the two piece sets that were such a great way to rock the matching sets trend.
This can definitely be paired with heels or sandals and still look appropriate for an event situation.
I feel like such kimono tops are so chic and always so in.
Just grab a cute little bag and you're good.
Melody Jacob
Melody wraps this "how to wear the matching sets trend to a function" round up with this amazing mix of colors that makes her way of rocking the two piece set so nice and fresh but most of all, exciting.A little color never hurt.
Thanks for stopping by.I really hope this inspires you somehow to rock 'em two piece sets.
