Are Culottes Still Flattering? Here's How To Wear Culottes

Happy Easter everybody!
I hope this holiday weekend is doing you a lot of good. I'm great as well but I have to apologize first for the slight inconsistency in when my blogposts drop.

Anyway, today's outfit features one of my favorite things to wear, culottes. Are culottes still flattering? Well, I am wearing them here and I think I look great, if I do say so myself so yes. They are flattering. Here's one of my ways on how to style culottes.

So for this amazing look, I decided to go for a striped pair of culottes. Of course you could go for a plain pair if you are not into print but I love prints so striped did it for me on this day. I'm 5'6 so I don't think culottes look that awkward on me in terms of length but I think for a shorter girl maybe, just maybe the length could be a bit awkward so stripes, vertical ones are a great option. Vertical stripes usually have a great way of elongating your body so they are amazing if you want to look taller.

What I love about this particular pair is that they are green with yellow stripes. Because I wanted to have a look with rich color, I decided to wear a yellow sweater. I love love love yellow. It's a great color, nice and bright and just has a way of making me happy. It contrasted so well with the green on my culottes and matched the stripes.

Still on keeping the rich colors, I went for a nice pair of golden kitten heels. I love them. They are comfortable and are also ankle strapped. I love ankle strap shoes and then I added one of my favorite bags, this brown one. For the jewellery, just some golden earrings. I feel like gold and yellow always go so well together. I added a pair of sunnies to complete the look.

What I love about culottes is that you can wear them to work you know, dress them up for an event or just rock them casually and it will all work. Are culottes still flattering?
