How To Wear A Midi Skirt With Sneakers

Sorry for the recent hiatus. I've actually been nursing a bacterial infection that kept me down for quite some time but here I am.

A lot of you guys loved my previous post and for that I am grateful. Here's another good one featuring two things I absolutely love. A good midi skirt and some white sneakers. I just thought I'd do a post on how to wear a midi skirt with sneakers.

I don't know how it started, but I suddenly became extremely obsessed with midi skirt outfits and now I own so many midi skirts it's almost ridiculous.

So I thrifted this polka dot midi skirt a while back. Loved it obviously because I have always loved polka dots. They are super cute. I love the brown color with the touch of white in the dots.

I have actually done a post before not too long ago featuring another midi skirt outfit that featured polka dots and I paired the skirt with a sweater and here, it's no different. I wore my skirt with this cute, black sweater I got from another thrifting expedition if I may call it so.

I love the sequin detail on the sweater and the fact that it's oversize. So of course, the intention here was to do a casual midi skirt outfit, hence the white sneakers.

So, the sneakers were also a thrift from way back. I just love them so much. I find them so comfortable, obviously and they often compliment a lot of my casual looks beautifully.

I also decided to go for a thrifted casual bag. Everything about this midi skirt outfit is thrifted today which simply means I did not have to break the bank to achieve my midi skirt with sneakers look.

So this was a rather simple look but the fun in it comes from the earrings. I love these blade shaped earrings I got from a very popular street here in Nairobi that has the most amazing jewellery pieces called Dubois.
