Hey guys! I hope you're doing well. So am I and well, I feel super excited to be sharing this outfit post because this floral dress is one of my favorites but I haven't worn or posted it much. I've just taken pictures in it a few times.
So, floral outfit ideas excite me and I believe I've said that in several of my YouTube videos. I find any excuse to wear things with lots of flowers on them because I feel like floral outfits for ladies just always make you feel happier. Something about your clothes affecting your mood you know. So I wore this floral dress on my recent trip to Nakuru.
I feel like whenever you're thinking of vacation outfits, you should consider a few floral outfit ideas especially if you're going on your vacation in warm springy and summery months. They always look great in the sun and make for great outfits to take photos in, to go out for lunch in or even brunch. This particular floral dress outfit is perfect for something dressier, right? It goes to below the knee area, it's white in color and the flowers are not overwhelming. It's a classy dress with frills around the top and hugs my body just right don't you think?
I got this floral dress from Rosegal a few years ago and I really loved it for the length. I love a nice long dress you know. So I wore the dress with some simple lace-up shoes. These are actually my favorite shoes because they go with every outfit.

I figured that since the dress has florals and ruffles, I'd keep everything else simple.
So for this floral outfit idea, I initially chose brown sunnies but later switched to black ones. I really wasn't sure which ones looked best so I photographed in both, but now I feel like the browns were best lol.
Anyway, I figured to make this a classier vacation outfit I'd just let the dress stand out alone which explains the simple bag and shoes and the just simple silver earrings.
So, I know there's lots of pictures in this post but I couldn't pick just a few. I was a bit spoilt for choice. Anyway, whenever you're thinking of floral outfits for ladies, think of the venue. You don't want to be dressed in florals that are too overwhelming for the place. If it's a festival for example, go with lots of flowers. If it's a classier event, something a bit laid back will do.
In case you've not yet watched the first part of my vacation video, find it below.
Thanks for stopping by,
Happy Women's Day tomorrow.
Xo,
Sophie

Floral dress never goes out of style. Pair it with straw hat for an effortlessly chic summer look or swap out the hat for flats when it warms up so it can be perfect year-round! Everyone needs that go-to flirty, feminine dress that brings out their sexy-yet-cute side. I'm not sure if I have that dress - but I have three different flirty ensembles perfect for running errands, getting drinks with girlfriends, or being enviably cute at brunch!
