How To Look Chic In A Simple Little Lace Black Dress

There are countless videos and ideas on how to wear a little black dress and it just never gets boring to see them. I have styled little black dresses in so many ways here on my channel too and well, I won't stop because a little black dress is always a saving grace don't you agree? So here's how to look chic in a simple little black dress.

So let me start by saying, I thrifted this little black dress. I love thrifting such black numbers because then I get to wear them countless times, mostly in a casual chic way but also dressed up. So, for this little dress outfit, I chose a lace dress. Lace has always been chic from time immemorial. It is a delicate fabric and in most cases looks expensive, well, if you find he right lace.

This dress fit me so perfectly and I did not need my tailor which truly is amazing. I decided to dress it up but funny, everything I'm wearing here is actually thrifted.

So, I wore the dress with this pair of Chanel style slingbacks that I thrifted in Eldoret two years ago. They are easily one of my favorite pairs of shoes. I also bought this cute printed bag thrifting at my favorite bag place in Eldoret. I use it very often because of its size, plus, it just really makes my dress look amazing don't you think? The barbies on it make it more fun.

That said, let's not forget the little details that made this little black dress pop more, that is the black bralette underneath because the dress is fully sheer on top, the classy black sunnies that always work for me and the ever reliable skinny black belt to keep my waist very visible.
