Hey guys!

I haven't been here since the start of the year, but is it too late to say Happy New Year?

I have had a crazy January, super hectic but here we are, happy and ready to carry on with the rest of the year with more peace. I still love fashion, needless to say and I just have so much to share on here. So many unposted looks which makes me excited because it means I have a lot to share, but I can only hope I have sufficient time to do so in light of my many work commitments. That said, here's how to look chic in an asymmetrical dress.

Casual chic outfit ideas are usually my favorites. They are both fun and classy but most of all, easy to put together. One of the best ways to go casual chic is by wearing an asymmetrical hemline. This is because a piece such as an asymmetrical dress allows you to avoid the very obvious straight hemline and play around with a different dress cut.

I thrifted this asymmetrical dress that's originally from Zara at some point last year and needless to say, I absolutely love it. It's got a nice set of colors, that is mustard, navy, black and white with well-arranged patterns making it all amazing. It's a midi length dress meaning for me, it's automatically chic considering it covers me up well.

While it's a sheer dress, I made it super modest by wearing a nice skirt underneath it and of course a black bralette.

So, because the dress was giving the chic factor especially after belting it, I added the hat, the straw bag as well as the sandals for the casual vibe. I really love that the hat has a different print, animal print to be more precise, making this casual chic outfit a mixed print look as well.

I finished with a straw bag because this is a summer look and accessorized further with some brown sunnies to match the brown sandals, bag and hat.
