I hope you are doing well. So am I. It's starting to feel like fall here in France and my goodness, guys, it is incredibly cold. Very very cold, at least for me who is actually African. Guys, it's a bit of a struggle being in such a beautiful country but being unable to enjoy it in your absolute favorite dresses and crop tops and the likes lol. However, I love that I am here. It was always my dream and I am just psychologically preparing for a snowy Christmas. That said, I'm here to share an outfit lol. Styling jeans for the perfect casual look.
Anyone who knows me knows I actually rarely wear jeans. its just not my thing, or at least wasn't until I got to Spain earlier in the year. I love me a good comfortable pair every once in a while to replace my ever preferred jeggings and leggings. Jeans can be classy too, they can also be dressed up for sure. So I have had this pair of jeans for years and years, I love them so much because they just fir me right, they are so light and the perfect color to go with just about everything I love to wear when I'm feeling a little too "lazy" to get all dressed up.
I thrifted this pair of jeans in Eldoret I believe and also, it's a couple of years old. I wore it with this red sweater top and a pair of red MaryJanes I bought from Shein last year. I really needed these shoes, so glad I finally got them because they were living rent free in my head.I saw them severally being worn by all these Parisian fashionistas and I knew it's my turn to get them too. I wanted a simple look hence the matchy matchy bit, but instead of a red bag, I chose a burgundy one because, why not? Really though, with how bright red my shoes are, I figured it would be best to just not add another red item.
Anyway, I wanted this perfect red look for a cold day on which I just really wanted to go and see the Monumento Al Encierro, visit a beautiful church in Pamplona and also meet a new friend. The Monumento al Encierro is this amazing monument in Pamplona that represents the running of the bulls festival that happens every July. It's called San Fermin festival. I unfortunately missed it because by July my visa time in Spain was up but I am so glad I got to see it and even film a couple of videos about it which you can watch below.
I hope this outfit I wore gives an idea on styling jeans for the perfect casual look.
