How To Style Your Midi Skirt: Visiting Castillo De Olite

I hope it's not too late to say that. I hope your 2024 is off to an excellent start. So is mine. I have lots of dreams and hopes for this new year because every new year brings about an opportunity for one to start a fresh. To say goodbye to the things that brought you down and hi to the new uplifting opportunities that might not yet be here but are coming for sure. So, how are you guys? I am enjoying seeing the snow as this is my first winter. First time having been away for sooooo long. It's freezing cold, I almost cannot wait for March for the weather to get better. Regardless, it's a year for more great outfits, like this midi skirt outfit.

So, I may love it here in France where I currently am but deep down I just miss having a full day of sunshine. It gets dark at 5pm, something I am definitely not used to but has been the case for about two months now or more. I miss the warm Kenyan weather too but well, my body is seemingly getting used to it slowly but I don't think it fully will. Regardless, I remain happy I chose to move here even just for a while.

So to the look, how to style your midi skirt, today I am in an all thrifted look. I am wearing a skirt I thrifted years ago while walking around a certain shopping centre. I am also wearing a pair of shoes I absolutely love that I thrifted in my hometown of Eldoret. The top, I've had it for years and I absolutely useful, nothing special to say about it except that because it's a basic black top.

If you've been reading my blog for a while then you know that I am a big fan of midi skirt outfits. They are generally very classy and while a lot of people find them a little awkward in length because of the part of your leg they hit, I do not. I love their unusual length.

Midi skirt outfits suit a lot of different occasions. You can style your midi skirt for church, for brunch, for school, you can style your midi skirt for the office and so many other places. For this particular incredibly windy day, I styled mine for a day out visiting the Castillo De Olite in Navarra, Spain.

The Castillo de Navarra is one beautiful castle you know. It's been around for ages in this little Spanish village called Olite, definitely worth the visit for sure.

So, to style my midi skirt for this outfit, all I needed to do was tuck in my basic black top. I actually was wearing two black tops, I just removed the first one because I was a bit uncertain as to what it added to my look lol. I liked it all simple. I know I have lots of pictures on this post but I was having a hard time selecting specifics so I figured they should all go up lol.
