But here’s the twist—the pictures I’m sharing with you were actually taken in Bossey, France, where I was freezing my little holiday socks off before heading to Paris. And I mean freezing. I swear, I looked like the Michelin man, wrapped up in enough layers to survive an Arctic expedition. In fact, I think the cold might have stolen a bit of my personality, because I’m pretty sure I forgot how to smile without looking like a penguin.
Despite the chill, Bossey was absolutely beautiful. The kind of picturesque French village that could’ve been straight out of a Hallmark movie. The snow-covered landscapes, the twinkling lights on the streets, and the smell of wood-burning fires from cozy little cottages—it was like something you dream about when you think of Christmas in Europe. Even if my nose was bright red and my eyelashes had little icicles hanging from them, I couldn’t help but fall in love with the place.
Now, as I settle into Paris for the holidays, I’ll be sharing some of this magical Christmas journey on my socials (unless I get distracted by another warm croissant, which is highly likely). I’ll try my best to post all the pretty Paris moments, but who are we kidding? I’ll probably be eating my weight in cheese and procrastinating on the whole “posting regularly” thing until, like, next year. But don’t worry, I will get there… maybe.
All jokes aside, I want to take a moment to truly wish you all the happiest of holidays. I know this time of year can be full of excitement, but also a little stress. Whether you're surrounded by family, friends, or enjoying some peaceful time alone, I hope you find moments of joy, laughter, and warmth. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you, and your support over the years means the world to me. Thank you for being part of my little online family.
As we approach the new year, I want to wish you all a 2024 that’s filled with adventure, love, and just the right amount of cheese (because, really, life is better with cheese). Let’s make this next year even more memorable, even if we’re still trying to figure out how to make the most of 2023.
Sending you all my love, my very best wishes, and, of course, lots of laughs as we head into the new year. Stay warm (if you’re lucky enough to be somewhere that isn’t Bossey or Paris), and have the happiest of holidays!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎅🌟🎉
