Met Gala 2018.. My Favorite Looks

Hey guys!
Fashion and Catholicism! Heavenly bodies?
In a way being Christian, I really wasn't too sure about this theme.I was actually a little afraid of what guys were going to wear  and wasn't quite sure if it's right to wear those crosses, hats and other things that are often symbolic in a religious setting but then I thought to myself, don't overthink it Sophie. Just don't.The Met Gala is definitely something I always look forward to.I'm always here for the red carpet part.See there's a reason why it was formerly called the Costume Institute Gala. The stars go out of their way to bring us fashion that blows our minds and is perhaps the most fashionable and creative event in the world or perhaps the most outstanding event on the fashion calendar. It was really hard going through all those photos and videos and even harder was coming up with some kind of ranking but I couldn't wait to share my perspective. Here's my top 5 plus other looks I loved for one reason or the other.
1. Favorite One
Blake Lively ran away with it. My jaw almost literally dropped when I saw this.Oh wow,I really can't get enough of this fabulous dress. Love it to the moon and back. She always gets it right but wow, this is is literally the best I've seen her look. Don't know how she's gonna top this one ever but she's a gorgeous woman and I am always looking forward to seeing what's next with her fashionwise.

2. A Very Close Second
So of course our girl Riri did what she always does. She slayed and slayed in this John Galliano number. Looked almost like she was carrying the Vatican on her head.Pope inspired look worked for her. This is definitely something we all wish we could get our hands on. Or at least some of us but I doubt I'd wear the hat which by the way looks amazing on her and would you look at those shoes!!!!! Well, I thought she stopped the show last year in a rather "confusing" outfit but this one we definitely get.She and Blake actually gave me a hard time picking a favorite.

3.Jasmine Sanders. I love this look on her. She showed up at The Met Gala looking like a golden barbie. Also, do you see the hair? She killed it there too. The red roses in her braid spoke for her. She really is gorgeous.
 4. Trust Cardi B to show you that even while expecting you can still bring it. I love her Met maternity style. Gorgeous.

5.Gabrielle Union , wow!!These days I love me some yellow and Miss Being Mary Jane couldn't have worn yellow any better. Loving the slit because this girl's got the leg to pull it off.
Mama Mia, Alek Wek, her gorgeous skin...Melanin popping y'all. I love how she brought it in this great color and the gown shows off her beautiful shoulders just right.
Zendaya Coleman looks so gorgeous in this one. Definitely created a moment there.I love it.

J-Lo just makes us 20 something year olds look bad huh?Look at the leg ladies, it has a life of its own don't you think?
Ofcourse Kim made it here...This golden number hugs her just right.

Irina Shayk looks gorgeous in this number don't you think? The high slit and plunging neckline are perfect for her body. Please ladies, this style is not for everyone haha but congrats to you if you can pull off such.

I really just want Cassie's suit I must say lol. I love it and now that my love for suits is growing, it really is no surprise that she's on my list.

Jordan Dunn in DVF looking like an angel in all white.I love how clean this look is.

Katharine McPhee in gold and blue and I am loving it. The sheer dress was perfect if you ask me.
So guys, don't forget to let me know which look you liked most from The Met Galla.

Who was your favorite?
