Beach Vacation Outfit Idea: Mini Tiered Dress

Happy holidays! I just thought I'd pop in here to say a big hi with the hopes that your holidays are amazing. I know it's winter season in the West but certainly not here. In fact, it's just getting hotter in Kenya and in case you don't know, January is the hottest mon the of the year for us. So as it approaches, it will get hotter and hotter.

Anyway, a short while ago, I went on a nice long vacation to my favorite place in my country, Diani. I absolutely love it there and certainly hope you have watched my very many vlogs on the place. it's gorgeous. So, I want to start sharing some of my beach vacation outfits, those ones I wore while there. So here's a beach vacation outfit idea, a mini tiered dress.

So, I have had this mini tiered dress for about six years. I bought it because it looked so cute, but I just never got the chance to wear it anywhere because it's just too short. It was also too big for me but I remembered it while I was planning this trip. I grabbed it and took it to my tailor, best decision ever because now, it's a perfect piece.

So for this beach vacation outfit idea, I simply wore the dress as it is but with a pair of shorts, obviously because of how short it is, but you can't really see the shorts. They're very well hidden which is the look I was going for. I really just wanted it to give me some extra security lol, in case I needed to bend.

I styled the mini tiered dress with some brown sandals because I loved how well the dress contrasted with brown. I also went for this beach bag I bought from Shein and a straw hat that I got from Dub oi in Nairobi. Loved the beach look. So effortless, flattering and functional for how hot Diani usually is and was at the time of my vacation.
