How To Look Casual Chic- Zara Midi Skirt

Happy new month. Long time no post, I know. I can't believe September went by so fast. That said, as usual, it's my favorite month of the year and also my birthday month. I turned a year older and I am indeed grateful to God for the gift of life. I went on vacation and I can't wait to share the highlights or photos of it, plus the fashion. That side, let's talk some fashion. Today's post is on how to look casual chic featuring this great button-down Zara skirt.

So, I bought this skirt not from Zara, despite being a Zara midi skirt. I got it while thrifting in Nairobi. It was a couple of sizes large as most of my clothes usually are but you know me. When I have a vision for something, I'll buy it, take it to my tailor and we both work on it.

I loved this Zara midi skirt because first, I just love midi skirts. They're just so flattering and well, they always look chic. Then, a button-down detail, just elevates it further. So this one stole my heart even further because it's in a classic color, plus the fact that it's in tweed meant it would deliver a great midi skirt outfit.

So, I actually took too many pictures of this mid skirt outfit it's almost ridiculous but I just loved the look too much. I wore the skirt with this white cardigan with black prints. I also wore some black flat shoes that I absolutely love. In addition, I went for this nice, red hat to add a pop of color and a red bag for the same reason.

Well, that's how to look casual chic right? You just throw on a midi skirt because they often have this effect. Just as long as they fit you ight, no need to work too hard.
