Hey guys!
I hope you're doing well. So am I, just burning in the heat outside because it is incredibly hot out here. That said, I'm still keeping it stylish because I just really love to look good. So, here's a new post. I love that I get to mix these posts from home and my posts from my stay in Spain. it just brings in such a good balance.
So today, I am posting this midi dress outfit. It's a sheer midi dress I got that's originally from Zara but I don't know from which collection. I've never really been one to bother about the release of clothes and what season it was, as long as I love something, I will wear it because what matters is that it will make me happy for sure.
So, the thing with midi dresses is that they make you look so classy even if it's a casual midi dress outfit. I find that a lot of people feel intimidated by what they call the awkward length but when you think about it, it really isn't awkward. Whether you go for the long one or the shorter midi dress, as long as you style it well, you're good to go.
This one from Zara is perfect for summer weather. First, it's about four sizes big on me but you know I never really mind such things. For me, as long as I see potential in a dress, I will get it.
So, it's sort of in a shift dress style. I just made it a skater dress outfit. I love the embroidery on the dress. It's actually part of the reason I bought this because my love relationship with anything embroidered will never go away.
I wore a bralette under the midi dress and also wore a black A-line skirt because of course you do not want to be showing too many unnecessary things. I was also after a classy midi dress look with this sheer number.
To finish things off with this Zara dress look, I went for some nice peep toe heels, a pair of sunglasses and a clutch bag. That was actually all I had to do.
Since the dress has a tie, I made that look like a scarf. I also went for some brown hair for the perfect contrast and of course sunglasses.
I hope you found inspiration in this classy midi dress outfit. You don't have to shy away from its length either. It's not awkward at all. You can see more such Zara looks and this one too in motion in the video I posted on my YouTube channel that I have linked below.
Thanks for stopping by.

Sophie
