Hey guys!
Happy New Month! I hope it's not too late to say that. It's already February and love is in the air, at least for those in relationships. If you're single though, fret not because you can love on yourself too and show even your friends that love.
Anyway, I'm not here to talk about Valentine's Day, rather how to look great in a statement skirt.
So, I was looking through Shein some time ago and I came across this beautiful statement skirt. I don't even know whether to call it a maxi skirt or a midi skirt. I just know it's long and it's lit. I loved it so much, I picked it in the two available colors. No regrets whatsoever.

I love this one because it's a great combination of black and gold, so fashion-forward. The dominant black makes styling this statement skirt even easier.
That said, I wanted to keep things rather simple so that the skirt can be the centre of attention for my outfit here. As such, I went for everything else black.

I love wearing sweaters so I grabbed one black one from my collection, which by the way I am so proud of, and then went for a black bag.
I figured this statement skirt would look great with a pair of mules which by the way are so comfortable.
I feel like when you're wearing a statement skirt, it's always best to keep everything else simpler in terms of color or cut. Whites work just as great as blacks or you could pick nudes and greys too.

So, whether you're wearing a statement midi skirt, a statement maxi, knee-length or mini skirt, just throw on single colored pieces, especially classic colors. Goodness, this feels like a whole photo dump huh? Well, had too many favorites.
Thanks for stopping by,
XO,
Sophie

I adore the chic design on this skirt! The length makes you look so tall and chic!
