I hope you are doing well this September. Me, I'm perfectly fine considering September is my birthday month, it's my favorite month, it's my good luck month. Anyway guys, I just turned 30 last week Thursday and I still can't believe it. Time flies but the most beautiful thing is growing with no regrets. I will put up a post on that later. However, today, I'm sharing some images from my first time exploring Madrid, a beautiful city I had always wanted to visit, a city that did not disappoint.
One of my biggest dreams was to visit Europe by myself at least once before I turned 30 and best believe I was able to achieve just that. So on this day, I went round Madrid and saw so much from Plaza Mayor, The Royal Palace, the Cathedral, Egyptian Temple, and so much more. My goal was to expound my mind more by visiting a different continent and I happily went there alone. It was an experience I needed to have and I'm incredibly happy I went for it with all I've got.
My biggest challenge in Europe was definitely the weather. So, I went there thinking spring was warm, and it was for the locals. However, I was just always freezing terribly. Don't be fooled by this immense sunshine. I was cold the whole time. Anyway, I explored the city in this casual vacation outfit that everyone can pull off.
A casual vacation outfit is a great way to go if you would like to explore. A nobrainer is just jeans, a sweater top, a pair of sneakers, a belt to cinch in your waist and there you have it. If you would like to make the look appear more elevated, then go with a blazer like I did and add a statement necklace.
